Sony Handycam Dcr Hc22e Driver For Mac

I have a sony handycam dcr-hc32 and realize that i must use a firewire cable to transfer video to my mac. I bought a 6-4 pin firewire cable but don't know where to hook it up. I cant figure out where to plug it in, can anyone help?

You need to use the Firewire (aka i.Link) port on the PC110, not the USB port. Your Handycam records DV format on the miniDV tapes .. and in order to capture DV with a Mac you have to use Firewire.
Also, if you are going to record new videos with the camera, set it for SP speed (not LP) and 16-bit audio (not 12-bit).
ps. videos recorded to the Memory Sticks are in MPEG format and cannot be captured by iMovie or Final Cut Express. You would need to convert them to DV or Apple Intermediate Codec first.

Hi Rob.Richards,

You can run the setup utility and manually change the configuration. Ibm rev 2.8 motherboard drivers download. You might need to do this to configure some hardware installed in or connected to the motherboard, such as the CPU, system memory, disk drives, etc.

With regard to the Firewire issue, I’d suggest you to try the steps listed below:

Sony

a.Open Device Manager

b.Expand the 'IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers' node in the device tree on the right hand pane.

c.Right click the host controller node and select 'Update driver software ..'

Driver

d.Select 'Browse my computer for driver software'.

Hp printer drivers for mac. The WebDriver-378.05.05.05f01 package contains drivers for all eligible Pascal-driven GPU products from Nvidia.

e.Select 'let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer ..' and Check the box before “Show compatible hardware”.

f.Choose the second option -- 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy), and click next to update the driver.

Additionally, if you have the older (Windows XP/Vista) drivers, you may try installing the same in compatibility mode and see I that fixes the issue.

With respect to the camcorder not being detected via the USB ports, I’d suggest you try the connectivity troubleshooter:
