Hi all,

In order to communicate thru Audiocore with my XTA DP 448 (audio) processorI needed to virtualise Windows on my macbook.I choose to use VM ware Fusion for this and installed the trial version, so I can try it out.

To make the connection to the XTA I use a USB - RS232 cable/plug from Moxaand Moxa deliverd it with software.

I already tried to make it working on my old Windows machine and it workedproperly. After installing the software, Windows recognized the Moxa cable/plugand showd it connected at Com 1.

I installed it al the same way in Windows VM-ware.Wenn I start up windows in VM-ware I plug in the Moxa USB anddirectly my Macbook asks me if I wanna use the cable/plug in Windows mode orin Mac mode. I choose for Windows.btw, I installed the x64 software, not the x86.After I choose for windows I see the control led on the Moxa plugburning, so connection is made?

Now trying to make connection with the XTA is not poss.

Wenn I check out the Windows system I only see the Com ports,but at Com 1 there is no sign of the Moxa plug.On my Windows laptop I do see there the connextion with the Moxa plug.I do know that the connextion speed and other things are allin the right conditions installed. Also did I put the right comport andspeed in the software of the XTA and Audiocore.

Can anyone tell me, why I don't see the Moxa plugin Windows system at com 1 and if this is theproblem why I can't communicate with my XTA processor.

For me, this is the only reason why I installed VMware.It is a pitty XTA doesn't make proper Mac software.......
